Women of 11th Street Video

Meet the Women of the 11th Street Bridge Project! They exemplify a woman’s potential for remarkable contributions in the construction industry by excelling at bridge building, concrete testing and inspection, flagging, project and budget controls, compliance auditing and DBE community outreach—tasks which take special skills, strengths and intelligence. All of these women credit family members as being their guiding force and inspiration for becoming involved and remaining committed to construction careers. These ladies maintain a strong sense of pride as they see their efforts help DC emerge as a renaissance city built in part, upon the physical and mental strength, effort and dedication of Women.
